Tasmania, The Island State of Australia
Renowned for its spectacular scenery, adventure-inspiring Wilderness & Fresh Produce
Whether you are riding Wild Mersey as a day-trip, weekend get-away or as part of a longer adventure, there is plenty to pack into your stay. The mountain bike network is surrounded by historic, vibrant towns and iconic natural attractions including Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park. A regional tasting trail dishes up locally crafted beer, wine, spirits, chocolate, cheese, berries and more; meet the makers and restore your energy for another day of riding.
Wild Mersey will connect Latrobe on the Mersey River with Railton and Sheffield, the town of murals at the base of Mount Roland. All are an easy drive from the Spirit of Tasmania car-ferry and the three airports and shopping destinations of Burnie, Devonport and Launceston. The state’s capital, Hobart, is around 3 hours journey by road.
