Make Your Mark
27 August 2018
Want to make your mark on the Wild Mersey Mountain Bike trails?
This September, construction will start on stage one of a world-class mountain bike project that will ultimately connect Latrobe, Railton and Sheffield with around 100 kilometres of beginner, intermediate and advanced riding trails.
Wild Mersey is being built over four exciting stages. Part of the first stage is focused at Latrobe in the Warrawee Reserve area and will see 13 trails open in December 2018.
Included in the construction team is a local group of enthusiastic mountain bike volunteers who will build five trails in the Warrawee Reserve and be making their mark on the riding experience at the northern end of the trail network.
The team is seeking additional volunteers to join their construction crew and will provide induction and training in the technique of building mountain bike trails.
