Stage two sets free another 4 green trails over 17 kilometres by May 2019, exploring deep into the forest around Railton and creating a scenic 12 kilometre dual cycling–walking link to/from Latrobe crossing five bridges through wedge tail eagle and platypus country.
Stage one will be ready to ride from late December 2018. Fifteen kilometres of trails at the northern end of the network in the Warrawee Reserve at Latrobe, providing a first glimpse of Wild Mersey with predominantly green and blue tracks and one black as a taster of things to come.
From mid-2019, construction will head into the Badgers Range to unleash more technical and adventurous riding with breathtaking 360 degree views around the Kimberleys Lookout are and a connection to Sheffield.
