CRADLE COUNTRY NORTH WEST TASMANIA

Venture into the wilderness, take on the peaks and roll the Mersey River flats in what will ultimately be 100+ kilometres of mixed-landscape riding perfectly geared for multi-day exploring.

Serious switchbacks will be rewarded with epic views and descents linked to flowy tracks to inspire the next generation of adventure riders.

Stage two sets free another 4 green trails over 17 kilometres by May 2019, exploring deep into the forest around Railton and creating a scenic 12 kilometre dual cycling–walking link to/from Latrobe crossing five bridges through wedge tail eagle and platypus country.

VIEW TRAILS

Stage one will be ready to ride from late December 2018.  Fifteen kilometres of trails at the northern end of the network in the Warrawee Reserve at Latrobe, providing a first glimpse of Wild Mersey with predominantly green and blue tracks and one black as a taster of things to come.

From mid-2019, construction will head into the Badgers Range to unleash more technical and adventurous riding with breathtaking 360 views from Kimberleys Lookout and a connection to Sheffield.
